After a mutual friend had been trying to set them up for over eight months, Brittney and Austin assumed it wasn’t meant to be - until their paths crossed on a night out. “From the moment we met, everything was effortless,” Brittney reflects. Their relationship burgeoned into a well-balanced partnership in which Brittney instigates spontaneity while Austin grounds the pair with a calming presence.
A favorite destination of the pair, Brittney and Austin being from Kansas love to vacation in Arizona, and a year before their nuptials Austin popped the question at the Desert Botanical Garden. After easily replying, “Yes,” Brittney’s newly minted fiancé suggested they get married at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, which she was secretly been hoping for.
One year later, an elegant and laid-back wedding day came to life. Florals inspired by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape offered texture to the outdoor ceremony scene with terracotta and ivory hued blooms and intentionally placed succulents. A contemporary edge offered a through line for the design, bold pops of black elevating the ambiance in the ceremony seating, signage and reception details.
Full of energy and bubbling over with laughter, Brittney and Austin’s wedding day celebrated not only their relationship, but the union of their families. By trusting their vendors and embracing their authentic selves, their wedding day serves as a truly cherished memory of ease and unbridled joy. Of course, the evening was not complete until the newlyweds spontaneously jumped into the pool in full wedding attire following their sparkler exit, a moment full of the carefree spirit that defined their wedding day. --Ryley S.
