An Enchanting Garden Soirée at Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows
A dreamy wedding design takes shape in Scottsdale featuring lush florals and fashion looks.

Tucked away from the hustle of the bustling Scottsdale scene, the Andaz played host to a dreamy design ripe with bounding florals, soft textures and drool-worthy details. “In crafting this editorial feature, our goal was to create a refined and romantic vision for the modern bride,” said Paris Semple, owner of Events by Paris. And she and a team of talented pros accomplished just that.
This design is truly a celebration of both SOFT romance and clean finishes, proving that beauty can indeed FLOURISH within fine design.

A breathtaking vision, the ceremony space centered around an altar installation incorporating white columns mixed within and elevating floral arrangements in creamy shades of peach and blue. Light wood wishbone chairs lined the aisle, imparting a sophisticated, mid-century modern vibe. Not to be outshined, all eyes were on the captivating bride—her look nothing short of breathtaking in Blue by Enzoani’s “Peggy” gown from Mariée Bridal, with a full skirt and asymmetrical shoulder draping. The only accessory needed was a free-flowing pastel bouquet resting over her arm.
Combining all things feminine, clean and romantic at once, Flora by Haleigh’s color-blocked arrangements were a refreshing take on flower arranging with a modern edge. Continuing the same feel, Marlene Artistry styled loosely sculpted waves and sultry makeup for a look reminiscent of Old Hollywood glam on the bride.
While many brides feel that they need to choose between a CLEAN and modern versus a romantic and FEMININE setting, we wanted to show that they are not mutually exclusive.

An intimate reception setting at golden hour called for an outfit change: the “Vivienne” dress with a beautiful statement bow from Modern Bride. The tabletop evoked classic-meets-modern with patterned linens, brushed gold flatware, textured glassware and hurricanes with long tapers. Sprays of florals grew up from either side of the base of the table, continuing the color-blocking theme, blue on one side, blush on the other.
As the venue and base design elements feature a more clean and MODERN motif, they are juxtaposed by lush florals, SOFTLY textured linens and a beautifully expressive SUMMER color palette.

The floral motif persisted onto the La Premiere Couture “Athens” gown and the “Posey Fleur Earrings” by Heirloom Bridal Company from Modern Bride. A verdant bouquet completed the picture, tying in the resort’s foliage and (by pure luck) our bride’s green eyes.
