Nestled between Scottsdale and Phoenix at the base of the Camelback and Mummy Mountains sits El Chorro, an iconic venue that’s been serving up memorable experiences since the 1930s. What was originally established as a school for girls in 1934 has been renovated and transformed into a romantic, timeless and quintessential desert setting that specializes in spectacular local and seasonal cuisine. El Chorro offers sweeping views, luxurious amenities and a variety of different event spaces to choose from, giving couples the versatility and creative freedom to make their special day truly their own.

Our first design opts for a classic take. For Arala and Kyle, a refined palette of black and cream was on the menu. Because many of their guests traveled from out of state, they wanted to provide a true desert experience. Natural, cascading cream and white florals adorned every nook and cranny of the property; a dreamy candlelit path led to a free-flowing organic ceremony setup complete with modern Lucite chairs; and lounge spaces and food stations added a relaxed yet sophisticated air to the event.
