Bold Florals and the Desert: Wedding Day Embracing Playful, Child-like Joy at The Dauz

On the verge of ten happy years together, Isabela Metzger and Tyler Roberts celebrated their love together with a desert ceremony at Papago Park and a joyous reception at The Dauz. The golden desert landscape of their vow exchange reflected the couple’s love for adventure and cherishing the beauty of life’s simple moments. Amidst towering cacti in the golden glow of an autumn evening, Bela in a billowing, breezy gown and Tyler in his custom green suit, became husband and wife. Following the ceremony, in an ode to her profession, Bela asked her preschool students questions about love and collected their answers to display as cocktail hour décor. Embracing their childlike enthusiasm, the lovebirds’ wedding day was bursting with bold florals—playful bright peonies, deep purple dahlias and pops of orange and yellow ranunculus--interspersed with lush greenery and contrasted against a black and white dancefloor, setting the tone for a day full of fun and vibrant moments. A pink neon sign reflecting Bela and Tyler’s vows, “Til Death” hung high over the shimmering disco balls. The celebration of the newlyweds’ playful, spirited love for each other was punctuated by an unforgettable dance party and the child-like joy of jumping in a giant bounce house.
