Situated in the Coconino National Forest near Flagstaff, Arizona, lies The Arboretum. Covering over 200 acres of private land, the arboretum features gardens of native flowers of the ponderosa forest, along with a stunning view of the San Francisco Peaks and a perfect setting for a magical woodland wedding.
With a focus on highlighting the forest’s botanical beauty, Alexis Holle with Holiday Productions designed a seamless venue from ceremony to reception. With the stunning mountain scene as a backdrop, a stone stage and an archway of wild greenery framed the view, serving as an altar. Matching foliage highlighted the aisle, while vintage wooden chairs blended harmoniously into the scene, all coming together to create an already breathtaking venue that comes alive with an enchanting, vintage touch.
Next to the altar, white tents for the reception area sprouted throughout the grove. Beneath the tent hung a wreath of natural flora, little pops of sunset flowers poking through. The tables came fully alive with eucalyptus bouquets and vintage-inspired serving ware in varying hues of green. At the head table, a runner of botanics was placed, with whimsical butterfly adornments. A seating area was created for guests to mingle later in the evening, with classic furniture revitalized with varying green textures and patterns and an antique bar adorned with a variety of heirloom barware.
