Audrey and Joey's lively wedding day celebration was an ode to both the cultural traditions of their upbringings and the large Assyrian party they first met at. As per the customary timeline, the day began with the groom's family arriving at the bride's home for a celebration known as the palata where women danced with traditional scarves and men danced with canes whilst escorting the bride from her family home to the ceremony. Audrey was a vision in her intricate bridal attire, the gossamer veil exuding ethereality as it billowed in the wind. Within the church, bountiful white blooms were perched atop the pews, casting a romantic ambiance about the room for Audrey and Joey to become husband and wife. Moving to The Scottsdale Plaza Resort for the reception, clusters of roses, baby's breath, lisianthus and soft greenery were warmed by the glow of dozens of candles in varying heights in an elegant and timeless design. The magical, intimate atmosphere was brought to life with Assyrian line dancing immediately following the bride and groom's grand entrance. A musically inclined family, Joey's father performed a heartfelt song during the reception, and he shared a special dance with his mother scored by the voice of his sister. A perfect balance of elegance and lively revelry, Audrey and Joey's wedding day was one they will cherish forevermore.
