Sometimes our family really does know us best, and for Lauren and Eric, that couldn’t be truer. The couple met through their parents, and in 2019, a parent-organized happy hour set their story in motion. Family was the heart of their wedding. They were married with their maternal grandfathers’ rings, a tradition for Eric as the fourth cousin to do so. Lauren’s bouquet held a photo of her maternal grandmother and her paternal grandfather’s cufflinks, keeping loved ones present throughout the day. The ceremony took place beneath a chuppah of cascading white florals, followed by mingling with a beer burro adorned with a flower crown. The hall transformed into a whimsical forest with centerpieces featuring trees wrapped in ranunculus and hydrangeas. The night overflowed with heartfelt speeches and celebration, marking the couple’s next chapter.
