Rebecca moved to Tucson in 2021 to begin her graduate studies in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Arizona. Jeffrey had been part of the same small aerospace program for years and noticed the new student right away. A mutual friend sent Rebecca an email through the class portal encouraging her to join their research team. She did. They hit it off immediately and, within a few weeks, were officially dating.

For their wedding, the couple drew inspiration from the thing they love most about Arizona: the sunsets. Soft vibrant pinks and warm oranges formed the foundation of the design, carried through in the florals, signature drinks, bridesmaids' dresses and signage. At the ceremony arch, bougainvillea added a desert touch, balanced by lush greenery and pops of color throughout. Pink tapered candles carried the palette into dinner.

A Spanish tile pattern in pink and orange, found by the mother-of-the-bride, inspired a stunning escort wall and served as the basis for the table numbers, with actual tiles used as markers throughout the reception.
The result was formal without feeling stiff, vibrant without feeling overdone and a celebration that looked like an Arizona sunset.
