Hermosa Inn

The Hermosa Inn is a charming, historic, 4-Diamond boutique resort, with 43 (all king-bedded rooms), providing an intimate setting ideal for weddings, receptions and rehearsal dinners.  We offer a variety of unique and memorable indoor spaces with fireplaces and adjoining patios to host celebrations of 20-60 guests.  Many of our frequent followers are familiar with our restaurant, LON’s, offering exquisite southwest dining on a beautiful Arizona fire-lit patio.  The resort was originally the home of turn-of-the-century artist Lon Megargee, “Arizona’s dean of cowboy artists”.  Lon created his home here in the lush desert oasis of Paradise Valley.  LON’s artwork is prominently displayed throughout the resort still today.

The centerpiece of the resort finds the newly refreshed Garden at Hermosa Inn – a stunning enhancement to our main garden – the perfect spot for intimate weddings, receptions, small luncheons, banquets and events.  This thoughtfully designed space can host up to 75 guests, with highlights including lush desert landscaping accented with bright blooming flowers, two fire pits, a fountain and a beautiful waterfall feature.  An elegant stone bridge connects the reception area to the lavish ceremony site anchored by a rustic pergola, allowing for a dramatic bridal entrance.  Seating areas can be customized with large sofas to create conversation nooks, while stand-up receptions can flow easily through the space taking advantage of an expansive covered area.

It is with no surprise, the Hermosa Inn was most recently ranked as the #1 Arizona Resort on Travel & Leisure’s 2023 World’s Best Awards, as well as Forbes Magazine’s Best Boutique Resort in Scottsdale (2023). Also, in 2023, Condé Nast Traveler named us the #2 resort in the Southwest!
