Alma and Trey Watmore’s love story began at Colorado College, where they first crossed paths as friends. Trey, a captain on the swim team, quickly grew fond of Alma, and over time, the feeling became mutual. For both, the relationship blossomed naturally, with Alma recalling, “Falling in love with Trey was simple … things always seemed to flow naturally.” As their bond deepened through graduation and Alma’s medical school journey, Trey’s unwavering support only strengthened her feelings. When planning their wedding, the couple focused on creating a celebration that reflected their love for life, music and movement. “We really wanted everyone on their feet dancing,” Trey says. The carefully curated playlist ensured the dance floor was full all night. Their floral choices mirrored their personalities too, with Dahlias—Alma’s favorite—and subtle pops of yellow, Trey’s preferred color. A highlight of the evening was a lively Bosnian dance, “Kolo,” which brought everyone together in joyful celebration.
