Tucked at the base of the Superstition Mountains sits Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club—a sublime setting where luxury and beauty intertwine for a paramount guest experience—and an idyllic spot for a team of wedding pros to bring their A game. At the design helm was Lara Jacobs, owner of Laki Events + Design. Taking cues from the surroundings, Jacobs explains: “The venue's inherent natural beauty was our primary inspiration. We designed the ceremony florals to seamlessly integrate with the surroundings, as if they had organically sprouted from the ground.”

Imagine a bride, rooted in the desert's ORGANIC beauty yet touched by the romanticism of old-world ROME. We curated natural floral elements and whimsical TEXTURES to complement the surroundings, crafting a design that feels both ETHEREAL yet strong and grounded.

A lilac and lavender color palette subtly touched details, making a statement while feeling neutral at the same time. Textured florals in different applications grew up from the ground, transforming a traditional aisle into a walk through a meadow.

Elegance reigned as the bride wore two trend-forward looks from True Society.

Incorporating WATER elements and reflections was crucial, especially to capture the breathtaking, natural MIRROR of the Superstition Mountains, creating a truly unique and organic backdrop for a MINIMALIST modern bride.

We sought to REDEFINE the desert wedding, blending modern minimalism with rustic CHARM. The result is a celebration of organic textures, EARTHY hues and natural florals, all anchored by timeless romance.

Not one but three gorgeous cakes from A. Cakes Bakery posed as art, one even emulating the surrounding stone details.

My PASSION lies in harmonizing modern design with the raw beauty of organic textures. Achieving BALANCE is key. Where heavy stone walls anchored the reception space, layers of draped linen and whimsical florals brought a soft, ethereal ELEGANCE.
