Magical Atmosphere Creates a Fairy Tale Wedding at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Daniella Kaprelian and Sevag Bastian's wedding celebration played out in the intricate, enchanting Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hotel, where pastel colors and florals created a glamorous atmosphere — like a palace straight out of a fairy tale. Daniella, who grew up in Scottsdale, had long considered the hotel her favorite in Arizona, being home to many treasured memories with her family. It was the first venue the couple looked at, and quickly became the obvious choice. The soft, romantic lighting and glamorous chandeliers were the perfect setting for the couple's creative vision to unfold. Daniella and Sevag adored the dreamy natural environment of Arizona, so they aimed to incorporate pastel colors mimicking desert flowers, bright sunsets and wide open skies. All the decorations, candles and lights were carefully placed to reflect each other and create geometric patterns out of the seasonal flowers. The end result was a timeless and elegant backdrop for the joyous celebrations. As first-generation Americans, Daniella and Sevag also aimed to maintain their cultural traditions in the festivities. Daniella wanted the ceremony to take place in the exact same church that her family helped build, the St. Apkar Armenian Apostolic Church, allowing many Armenian traditions based in faith to be incorporated in the celebration. The dreamy, magical atmosphere of the entire day allowed the couple to exchange vows and look towards their future full of hope.
