As the flowers bloom and the days grow longer, spring weddings embrace a season of renewal, color, and fresh beginnings. This year, couples are stepping away from tradition and infusing their celebrations with vibrant hues, organic floral arrangements, and immersive guest experiences. Here are some of the most exciting trends shaping spring weddings in 2025, as shared by top Arizona wedding industry experts.

1. Wildflower-Inspired Florals

Natural, free-flowing floral arrangements are defining spring weddings, with couples opting for wildflower-inspired designs that feel effortless and romantic. “One of my favorite trends I’ve seen recently is the use of wildflower-inspired florals - they’re natural, vibrant, and so perfect for the season,” shares Erin Smith of Erin Smith Beauty Creations. Loosely gathered blooms like daisies, peonies, and lavender create a just-picked aesthetic, moving away from traditional structured arrangements. “These arrangements create an organic, romantic feel that truly caputures the spirit of spring,” Smith adds. This trend extends beyond bouquets to floral arches, tablescapes, and even wearable florals, bringing a fresh, whimsical energy to wedding décor.

2. Vibrant & Playful Palettes

Spring weddings are embracing bold, cheerful hues, moving beyond pastels to incorporate vibrant jewel tones and citrus-inspired shades. “Vibrant pops of color in floral arrangements and bridesmaid dresses beautifully unify the elements of a spring wedding, creating a cheerful and cohesive atmosphere,” says Kayla Kudo, Social Sales and Catering Manager at Enchantment Resort. Couples are experimenting with color-blocked tablescapes and unexpected combinations, such as pairing bright corals with deep emerald greens.

3. Floral Installations & Garden Party Themes

Spring weddings are embracing nature-inspired décor, with floral installations and lush greenery transforming indoor venues into enchanting garden settings. Hanging floral chandeliers, cascading greenery, and flower-adorned arches are making a statement, blending elegance with an organic feel. ErinSmith notes,“Another unique detail I’ve seen is the incorporation of outdoor elements into the venue decor, especially for garden or vineyard-style weddings,” notes Erin Smith. These immersive floral designs create stunning focal points and enhance the romantic, fresh aesthetic of spring celebrations. “Think hanging floral installations or floral arches that create stunning backdrops for photos. These fresh, natural touches give off a relaxed, yet elevated vibe,” Smith adds. You can further elevate the this trend with vintage lounge seating, delicate lace accents and pastel-hued tableware.

4. Floral-Infused Cuisine & Signature Spring Cocktails

Fresh, seasonal ingredients are at the heart of spring wedding menus, with couples leaning into bright flavors and artistic presentation. Colorful appetizer spreads, garden-fresh salads, and botanical-inspired desserts are all making an impact. “One of our favorite trends for spring weddings is incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients - like our fruit, cheese, and veggie trays - to celebrate the vibrancy of the season,” says Marisa Lockwood of Floridino’s. "We've seen couples embrace our tomato basil bruschetta as a refreshing appetizer, floral-infused beverage stations, and colorful spring-themed dessert displays that not only taste amazing but also double as décor (our top recommendation: lemon bars!). Another creative touch is using edible flowers as garnishes, adding an elegant aesthetic to the dining experience. These thoughtful details perfectly capture the spirit of spring - light, fresh, and full of life - while balancing the heartiness of our Italian cuisine beautifully!"

5. Multi-Day Celebrations

Multi-day wedding experiences are also on the rise. Emily Tharp, Sales Coordinator at Tanque Verde Ranch notes, “One of the most exciting trends we’ve seen for spring weddings is the rise of multi-day celebrations, where couples turn their wedding into an immersive experience for their guests. At Tanque Verde Ranch, this trend comes to life with Sunset Welcome Receptions on the Rincon Terrace, guided horseback rides through the desert, and tons of customizable activities to keep guests engaged. Many couples are also opting for weekday weddings to secure their dream venue while extending the festivities. A cowboy cookout rehearsal dinner brings everyone together for a relaxed, Western-inspired evening, while those staying through the weekend can enjoy a Breakfast Ride on Thursday or Sunday morning, taking in the stunning views before gathering for a farewell brunch. These thoughtful experiences capture the adventurous, romantic spirit of spring while giving guests more than just a wedding day - they get a true Southwest escape."

6. Garden Stations

Couples are finding creative ways to make their weddings more interactive and memorable, with personalized guest experiences becoming a major trend. “For a fun personal touch, I’ve also seen couples set up customized ‘garden stations’ where guests can plant a small flower or herb to take home,” states Erin Smith. "It’s not only a lovely favor but also a nod to spring's theme of growth and new beginnings, which is symbolic of a wedding and unity. Spring is such a beautiful time for weddings because it’s all about renewal, color, and light!"

7. Watercolor Details & Botanical Accents

Soft, artistic elements are shaping the final details of spring weddings, with couples embracing delicate, nature-inspired accents. Watercolor stationery, hand-painted signage, and pastel-hued linens bring a dreamy, romantic feel to the day. “Spring weddings are the perfect opportunity to play with vibrant floral installations and accents, like watercolor details or pastel linens,” says Craig Peterman of Craig Peterman Photography & Videography. Botanical elements are also being incorporated into unexpected places, such as pressed flower escort cards and greenery-adorned seating charts. “It’s also exciting to see couples ‘bring the outdoors in’ with lush greenery arches and fresh botanical centerpieces,” Peterman adds.
