Remember how George Banks envisioned a backyard wedding for his daughter Annie in Father of the Bride? Think that—and more—for this styled shoot led by Bailey Shea & Co. Inspired by ‘90s rom-com weddings, the setup felt nostalgic, relaxed and completely centered around love.

Bailey Shea imagined an Italian dinner party lit solely by lanterns and candles, where the couple’s loved ones could gather to celebrate. She chose to forgo formal floral arrangements on the table, instead selecting a few stems growing in the surrounding gardens to add a natural finishing touch. The design created an approachable, down-to-earth, warm vibe for guests, nestled in the beauty of a private orchard.

“I love that this shoot focused on the love surrounding a small, intimate wedding and still had a cohesive, thoughtful design—even without all the bells and whistles that come with larger wedding planning,” notes photographer Nicole Smith of Nico Marie Photography. “It stayed humble and felt true to ‘90s backyard weddings.”
